Crusader
Religious warriors, crusaders are holy knights, champions of a chosen deity and are divine spellcasters. Crusaders train for years to learn the skills of combat, mastering a variety of weapons and armor. Even so, their martial skills are secondary to the magical power they wield: power to heal the sick and injured, to smite the wicked and the undead, and to protect the innocent and those who join them in the fight for justice.
Precisely how a crusader defines their values differs from one crusader to another and some swear their oath as a form of religious devotion, dedicating themselves to the values of a particular deity. Crusaders, not unlike priests, are granted their divine powers through the strength of faith, though the principle object of their devotion are their cause and not their god.
A crusader is sworn to an oath to promote and fight for their beliefs and values. As paragons of their beliefs, crusaders are granted the ability to wield divine magic by deities or similar powers. All crusaders adhere to a code of conduct of some sort, though they often differ significantly from one crusader to another.
Path of the Divine Shield
Crusaders who choose the Divine Shield path specialize in shielding their allies from harm. They not only defend their friends from enemy attack, but take on the role of a substitutional priest, healing and bolstering the abilities of their allies as well, foregoing all loyalties but to the pursuit of justice and the protection of the innocent. Divine Shields favors one-handed melee weapons used in concert with a shield, preferably a heavy one, which lowered their capacity for damage while improving their defense. Divine Shields think that, through their acts of mercy, kindness, and forgiveness, they can kindle the light of hope in the world.

Path of the Inquisitor
Being an inquisitor is an affirmation of a destined path, one laid out for those that embrace this path by divine hands. For whatever reason, a god or a group of gods has included them in their machinations. Inquisitors are not reluctant heroes, they fully embrace the idea that great deeds are theirs to achieve. Inquisitors are those who seek glory in battle and subjection of their enemies, since to these crusaders, in order to pursue their goal of divinely sanctioned retribution, it isn't enough to just establish order; they must also vigorously crush the forces of chaos and evil.
